Albert
Edwin Flury was born in 1974 of an Italian mother and
Swiss/English father in Busto Arsizio, Italy. From
his tender years he showed an outstanding artistic gift.
In 1997 he entered to form part of the Asco Duomo
association of Milan, obtaining permission to exhibit his works at their
exhibitions. In the same year he exhibited the following (for the complete
Theatrical season) “Homage to Marie Antoinette” and “18th century
self-portrait” in the Hall of the National Theatre of Milan.
In January 2000, he exhibited at the “Petrofil Arte
International” of Milan, in the company of many illustrious names from both
19th century and contemporary artists. In the same year the artist exhibit in Nice (France) at the Negresco presented by the Gallerist and Art Critic Mrs. Ursula Petrone. He even becomes official member of the American Society of Portrait Artists. In 2006 his painting "Homage to Marie Antoinette is chosen as cover of the biography by Vladimir Oravsky of the love affair between the Queen of France and the Swedish Count Fersen. The book was presented in january 2007. In November 2007 his works are selected for the exhibition "Vizi d'Arte" in Vietri sul Mare (SA) from the 10th decembre 2007 to the 15th of january 2008. Thr exhibition is then prolongued in the Naples's Churches of San Gennaro all'Olmo and San Biagio Maggiore.
